A Revitalized Community Gem

In recent years, Sagamore Park has seen substantial upgrades. Notably, in 2012, the park underwent a comprehensive makeover funded by a $175,000 state grant secured by Assemblywoman Amy Paulin. Improvements included refurbished playground equipment, the replacement of hard surfaces with safety fiber mulch, and additional landscaping to enhance the park's natural beauty. Accessibility was also a key focus, with the installation of ADA-compliant paths and railings, ensuring that the park is welcoming to all members of the community.

Further enhancements have been part of the village's ongoing commitment to community spaces. In 2019, the Bronxville Board of Trustees approved additional upgrades to Sagamore Park as part of a broader initiative to improve village facilities. ​

Sagamore Road Playground offers a variety of features designed to cater to children of different age groups:​

While the park lacks restroom facilities, its clean environment and well-maintained equipment make it a pleasant destination for families seeking outdoor recreation.
