Originally established in 1917 as Green Meadow Country Club, the course was designed by Maurice McCarthy. Over the years, it underwent several transformations, including a period as Willow Ridge Country Club. In 2021, facing financial challenges, the Town of Harrison acquired the property for approximately $13.5 million. By 2022, it was rebranded as Harrison Meadows Country Club and is now managed by Troon, a renowned golf course management company. ​
